last night was the premiere of private screenings: liza minnelli on tcm. liza sat down with old friend robert osbourne to talk about her famous parents (judy garland and vincente minnelli for those of you living under a rock), going out on her own and making a career for herself, and her godmother, the legendary kay thompson. she also remembers some adorable anecdotes from her childhood, among them trick-or-treating at "uncle gene" kelly's house!
