Partaking in a scholastic weekend event, Charlize Theron was on-hand for the Living Peace Series at UC Irvine in Irvine, California on Saturday (December 4).
Joined onstage by Dr. Michael Bennish, the gathering dubbed "A Conversation With Charlize Theron" saw the Oscar winning actress sharing intellectual discussions in front of the well-attended audience.
Miss Theron, who grew up in South Africa also recently opened up with press about how her father threatened to shoot her and her mother with a shotgun before her mom ended up killing her dad with a shotgun.
Charlize said, ?I told my mom that it was my dad. My father said he would shoot us both dead with his shotgun. My mom said she was afraid he would kill us. The next moment, I heard a number of shots."
Continuing on about the traumatic events, the35-year-old added, ?Then I heard her screaming?When I went into the passage, my mom was sitting in a corner of the bedroom. My mother wept and said, ?Charlize, I?ve shot him.? Then I saw the body of my father.?
