So it turns out Lady GaGa?s related to Madonna, quelle surprise?

Well who?d have thought it? Turns out controversial superstar Madonna is actually related to her Mini Me, aka Lady GaGa.

Some boffin over in the US has managed to trace their lineage back to a joint ancestor who moved from France to Quebec in the 1600?s, which basically means they?re cousins. Well they?re ninth cousins once removed actually.

Guess musical genius must run in the family then! At least that finally explains why their songs sound so similar then.

Anyway, meanwhile Gaggy (a nickname which we never intend to call her again ? sorry about that) was literally swamped by fans and photographers as she arrived back at her London hotel over the weekend - but she looked like she loved every minute of it.
