Carey Mulligan Gets to Work on "Shame"

Kicking off another brand new project, Carey Mulligan closed out the weekend on the set of her upcoming movie "Shame" in New York City on Sunday (February 20).

The English actress was a bit shy as paparazzi caught her going to and from her trailer clad in a white robe, long winter coat and black boots.

As for the movie, "Shame" is being directed by Steve McQueen while co-starring Michael Fassbender, James Badge Dale, Nicole Beharie and Jake Richard Siciliano.

The drama is "centered on 30-something Brandon, his myriad sexual escapades, and what happens when his wayward younger sister moves in with him," according to IMDB.

Along with "Shame," Miss Mulligan is also rumored to be up for the role of Eliza Doolittle in the Sony movie musical "My Fair Lady" - which has also seen Colin Firth mentioned as a possibility for the character of Professor Henry Higgins.

Blimey there have been some dodgy outfits going on at LFW this year?

London Fashion Week is a time when a load of British designers get to show off the fruits of their creative labour following months of hard work.

But it?s also a time when a load of celebrities desperately try to out dress each other in a vague attempt to get some press coverage. And this year there have certainly been no shortage of celebs who?ve tried to push boundaries with ?eccentric? outfit choices, and in the process of course they?ve ended up looking completely ridiculous.

Marina (of Marina and The Diamonds) for instance managed to offend our eyes twice this weekend when she donned a couple of ?quirky dresses?, the Winstone sisters (Lois and Jaime) took a fashion gamble which didn?t pay off ? and let?s not even talk about Pixie Geldof.

Oh, and Nicola Roberts ? we are very disappointed in you, we thought you were so much better than that?

Countdown Until Miranda Cosgrove ?Completely? Wild-outs

And it starts. Pristine little Miranda Cosgrove, yes the star of iCarly, is at the breaking point moment her reputation depends on.

The 17-year-old released her music video for “Dancing Crazy” earlier this week and let’s just say it has shed some light on the path Miranda may be veering toward. It’s like where did sweet, innocent, trustworthy, Miranda go? First she sneaks out of her house in the middle of the night and then the flow she delivers throughout the song is so not her – it it’s more of a girl who’s “thinking what the hell, all I want to do is mess around.” Then again, recently divorced punkette Avril Lavigne did write this song. The proof’s in the perforated chorus.

But hey, maybe Miranda is our newest hope for wholesome teen pop stars .... nah!

In her new video, see what we mean? Miranda thinks it’s cool to lay on the black nail polish and cozy up to some "OMG seriously cute" boy on the bleachers and … make out?! Not to mention, the girl was gallivanting around town with that "OMG seriously cute" boy doing goodness knows what until 7 a.m.

She has a habit of relying on her fame to afford her special privileges, but last night (February 18) Lindsay Lohan didn?t get the star treatment she was expecting.

The ?Mean Girls? actress tried to crash a private party at the Sunset Marquis hotel in Los Angeles only to be immediately turned away. In shame, she slinked off through the venue?s garage.

In related news, LiLo attempted to set the record straight about her Thursday night antics at Teddy?s nightclub- she claims she wasn?t ever in the club but rather just at the Roosevelt Hotel.
