Rihanna and Katy Perry: LAX Ladies

Known to be close friends, Rihanna and Katy Perry were spotted landing together at LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Wednesday evening (November 17).

The musician gal pals were both back on the west coast after separate promotional efforts in New York City - as Rihanna made multiple appearances for her new album "Loud" while Katy held a launch event for her just-launched scent "Purr".

The sighting comes shortly after RiRi bestowed quite the impressive gift upon Perry and new hubby Russell Brand after missing their wedding in India.

An insider told The Sun newspaper, "Rihanna hasn't stopped apologizing since the wedding day. She told Katy she'd been racking her brains about how to make it up to them. She knows how much Katy loves Tokyo, so this way she could give them a trip they would always remember."
