New-old Leighton Meester track - "Front Cut"

E!, knowing how to take advantage, releases a track Leighton did two years ago with Clinton Sparks. It was originally for Fergie (has her sound).

While she's already showed off her singing chops on "Good Girls Go Bad"?and, more recently, in Country Strong?a new track written for the Gossip gal by producer pal Clinton Sparks was released earlier today, and has Meester returning to her dancier roots (bye bye, 10-gallon hat).

Ah, I kind of love it, but I'm glad Leighton's working on a new direction with her music. COUNTRY STRONG shows she's actually got a very rich voice that's better off for acoustic/jazz moreso than pop.
